Downeast Christmas Carol Production Team
Mark Puglisi
This is Mark’s 21st production with ACT or its precursor (After School Players). He is proud to have been part of the birth and growth of ACT and hopes that it will continue to foster the love of and participation in live theater. It constantly amazes him that this company, homeless and without assured funds, manages to do what it does on the strength of its volunteer labor.
Author
Matt Cornish
This will be Matt’s 3rd production with, but first directing for, ACT. No stranger to the director’s notebook, Matt formerly served as Director of Theatre at East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT, as well as directing for the Naugutuck Teen Theatre, The Goshen Players (both in CT), the Theatre Week program at Camp Washington(Lakeside, CT), and the Susquehanna University Chancel Drama program(Selinsgrove, PA). some of his favorite Directorial credits include: Godspell (NTT, CW),Working (NTT), Antigone, Metamorphoses, As You Like It, Seussical, Anything Goes (ECHS), and the great classic of the American Theatre, The Stinky Cheeseman and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (GP), among many others. He recently had the once in a lifetime experience of performing Sondheim’s Assassins for Stephen Sondheim (although he didn’t know he was there until after the show…thank God). When not chasing his daughter through the woods of Acadia, Matt spends his days as a completely different kind of director in his role as Camp Director at Camp Beech Cliff. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming virtual musical production of Super Happy Awesome News, A Joint effort between CBC and ACT.
